If You Only See Shanghai Once — See It From Here
360° Panoramic Views
Shanghai’s Iconic Skyline, Riverfront, and Landmarks

Looking North: The City Ahead
To the north unfolds North Bund, one of Shanghai’s fastest-evolving districts. From here, sweeping views of the Huangpu River stretch toward the span of Yangpu Bridge, where river traffic and new skylines signal the city’s continued growth.

Looking East: The Iconic Skyline
Across the river rises Lujiazui, Shanghai’s financial heart. From The Stage, the skyline unfolds in full view — Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Jin Mao Tower, and the Shanghai World Financial Center, forming one of the city’s most recognizable silhouettes. By day, a forest of glass and steel. By night, a skyline illuminated in light and color.

Looking South: Expanding Horizons
To the south, the Huangpu River curves through a vibrant stretch of waterfront development. Nanpu Bridge links both sides of the city, while riverside promenades and green spaces extend toward the Expo Site and Xuhui Riverside, reflecting Shanghai’s ongoing transformation.

Looking West: Echoes of the Past
To the west lies The Bund, a historic waterfront lined with early 20th-century architecture. Landmarks such as the Customs House clock tower and the Peace Hotel’s green copper roof recall the city’s storied past, while Suzhou Creek winds toward the Huangpu River beneath Waibaidu Bridge.

Divided into five acts
Designed by New York–based Studio MH, The Stage draws inspiration from Shakespeare’s line, “All the world’s a stage.” The journey unfolds in five acts — Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, and Resolution — where materials, light, and color shift from space to space, shaping an immersive progression above the city.

Peking Opera Flash Performance
Performance Times
Sunset Blue Hour – 17:15 / 18:15
Neon Night Session – 19:15
At 320 meters above the city, The Stage becomes a live backdrop for a three-minute Peking Opera flash performance.
Featuring excerpts from The Drunken Beauty and The Ode to Pear Blossoms, performers in full traditional costume and makeup present a striking moment where classical opera meets the illuminated skyline of Lujiazui.
Standing above the city, audiences witness a rare fusion of heritage and contemporary Shanghai.
